Directed by Senio Zapruder, 'Ultimate Scream' sees Cara Delevingne in a 90's fashion-meets-thriller showcase for Dsquared2 Resort 2013 campaign.
She stalked their spring/summer 2013 catwalks dripping in chains and patent leather; and now DSquared2 have snapped up Brit model sensation, Cara Delevingne, for a short film - titled 'Ultimate Scream' - promoting their forthcoming Resort campaign.
Infamous on the model circuit for her tendency to lark around and pull a comical face or five; the 20-year-old was the perfect choice for the Senio Zaprider directed video, which channels a vamped-up 90's vibe, in the style of 1996 horror film Scream .
Sporting a side-swept, half grunge/ half glamour 'do and some seriously heavy make-up, a DSquared2 adorned Cara happens to be lurking near a pay phone when she receives a call from the Scream psychopath, who called fresh-faced babysitter Drew Barrymore in the original film.
Attitude heavy, with a soundtrack of 'Scream Miami' remixed by Stefano Riva, screen shots skip so rapidly from shoes to bikini to gold bling and back again, that we'd be surprised if Cara didn't don the whole Resort collection for the film.
But the low-budget, payphone on a dusty roadside - think Thelma and Louise stopping off on their epic Thunderbird convertible trip - vibe is a fresh change for the 'Born in Canada, living in London, made in Italy' designers noted for risqué collections, often causing palpitations akin to those experienced by the ill- Scream -fated Drew Barrymore.
