Poppy Delevingne is one heck of a busy woman this week! Fresh from her highland fling in Scotland as one of Chanel’s VVVIPs for the Metiers D’Art show (where the model told us one of her favourite looks took to the catwalk at the end, “[it was] very Queen Elizabeth/ Mary Queen of Scots with the high ruffled neck, really exuberant and almost angelic. I’d like to float around my house in one of those babies”) she went on another adventure…. This time approximately 300 metres above ground at Thomas Sabo’s dizzying do for the world premiere of their tri-colour jewellery for spring/summer 2013 at London’s latest major landmark, the Shard.
Was she scared being on the 68th floor? Certainly not, she said no. But Britain’s top model wasn’t just there for the phenomenal 360 degree view of our great capital city, the delicious canapés or the high fashion company, oh no. She was in attendance because jewellery giant Thomas Sabo have snapped up her stylish talents as their latest ambassador - you can see the gorgeous campaign shots above and below.
As a Young Ambassador for the British Fashion Council already and now a constantly-snapped FROW-goer during fashion week, it’s a genius move for the trinket-loving brand. Resplendent in a blue blazer and, the eagle-eyed among you will notice, killer Zara boots, Poppy also told us of her happy tears over sister Cara’s ‘Best Model’ win at the British Fashion Awards. Such good genes!
