Twiggy, Sir Peter Blake, Louise and Jamie Redknapp and Natalie Massenet were among the guests at the designer’s Christmas lights party.
TWINKLE, TWINKLE: “We’ve known Stella since she was born. It’s like a family occasion,” said the model — and national treasure — Twiggy, who joined Stella McCartney and friends at the designer’s Christmas lights party on Tuesday night at her Bruton Street flagship in London.
“We’re doing Christmas at our place, which we always do with lots of family,” Twiggy said. “I’m going to cook, although my daughter will probably take over and she’s very bossy in the kitchen. But she is a good cook.”
Guests included Sir Peter Blake, Louise and Jamie Redknapp, Natalie Massenet, Kelly Hoppen and Mary McCartney, who grazed on mulled wine, mince pies, roasted chestnuts, chocolates and lollipops.
The British comedians Paul Whitehouse and Vic Reeves performed a musical act and created a comedy sketch about the designer’s vegetarianism. “It’s really nice to see them together because normally they work with different people,” McCartney said.
