Diane Von Furstenberg And Gap Partner On Second Line

DIANE VON FURSTENBERG has designed a second collection for children and babies in partnership with Gap. The spring/summer 2013 DVF for Gap range is slated to arrive both in stores and online in April.

"I really loved the challenge of translating my designs into the first DVF for Gap collection," said von Furstenberg. "It was so much fun to see little girls wearing the pieces and I'm looking forward to collaborating with Gap on this second collection."

The designer's first successful partnership with GapKids and babyGap launched in March 2012, with pieces aimed at girls from newborn up to age 14. The collection incorporated von Furstenberg's signature bold prints and use of bright colours, with prices starting from just £20.

"Diane's iconic prints, signature silhouettes and optimistic colour palettes really resonated with our customers around the world," said Steve Sunnucks, global president of Gap. "After a successful first collaboration, we're thrilled to continue working with Diane and excited to see what she will bring forward in her second DVF for Gap collection."
