DOMENICO DOLCE and Stefano Gabbana have shown their support for John Galliano as he makes his fashion comeback.
"We wish John the
best of luck with his return to fashion," the pair told Swide magazine.
"We've always been admirers of his flamboyant talent."
The former Dior helmer
announced plans of a temporary residency at Oscar de la Renta's New York studio on
Friday. The designer will spend the next three weeks contributing ideas to de
la Renta's forthcoming autumn/winter 2013-14 collection, following a two year
absence from the fashion circuit since being dismissed from Dior after making anti-Semitic
remarks in a Paris café.
"He has been missed
from the fashion scene these two years and we can't wait to see the collection
with Oscar de la Renta," added Dolce and Gabbana.
