To coincide with the opening of the new Maison Kitsuné
boutique in Tokyo, Oliver Peoples has teamed up with the Parisian label to
create a capsule collection of 1950s-inspired sunglasses.
Maison Kitsuné is set to open its first Japanese boutique on February
14 in the heart of Tokyo. To coincide with the launch, the fashion label with
the famous fox logo has teamed up with Californian eyewear brand Oliver Peoples to create two pairs of sunglasses, Paris and Tokyo.
The retro-inspired Tokyo frame is a unisex style with interchangeable
colored lenses, while the Paris is a more elegant and feminine style,
with an oversized, round shape. Available in Paris and Tokyo, the limited
edition glasses come in a variety of colors, including tortoiseshell, black and
8108 (a subtle mix of the two shades). The look book for the Oliver
Peoples for Maison Kitsuné collection was
photographed by Brad Elterman under the artistic direction of André
Saraiva.
