Lanvin Helps Minnie Mouse Celebrate Disney Anniversary

ALBER ELBAZ has designed a bespoke Lanvin dress for Minnie Mouse to wear during the 20th anniversary celebrations of Disneyland Paris.

The pair first collaborated as part of the Barney's New York Disney Electric Holiday window display last year, which saw a digital version of Minnie wearing a pink ruffled Lanvin creation (pictured). For their second collaboration, Elbaz has designed a blue structured neoprene dress covered in glittering embellishments.

The brand released a teaser video on YouTube yesterday, showing the famous Disney character paying a visit to Lanvin's headquarters in Paris.

"When I showed her two dresses, she knew exactly which one she wanted," Elbaz told WWD. "She likes to show her heels and loves earrings, jewellery, colours and everything that sparkles."

Disneyland Paris will host a fashion parade with celebrity guests on March 23 to celebrate the milestone.
