French brands Rivieras and
Bonpoint have teamed up to produce mini versions of the cult summer shoes, in a
rainbow of colors.
Launched in 2009 by two
Frenchmen, Rivieras is on a mission to bring the rope-soled espadrille
originally worn in Spain in the 1950s, back into style. Reinvented in pop-color
brights for children, with rubber soles and same-color stitch detail, little
ones can now wear Rivieras in the street or on the beach when the sun comes out
and make like Mummy and Daddy in a capsule collection for Bonpoint featuring four different models. In coral, navy, bottle green or sky
blue, the summer shoes are available in European sizes 24 to 39 for €60.
