GURUNG, Emilia Wickstead and Eudon
Choi are three of the designers to join the Swarovski
Collective for the first time this season. They follow names such as Mary
Katrantzou, Rodarte and Giles
who remain members of the initiative for their upcoming shows.
Each season, the crystal
specialist partners with several key designers from the New York, London, Milan
and Paris catwalk schedules. For autumn/winter 2013-14, Swarovski is working
with 14 talents in total - all selected for their "ability to demonstrate
exquisite craftsmanship with crystal across their pioneering designs".
"Swarovski is
delighted to collaborate with such inspiring and innovative talents this
season," said Swarovski Crystal Business board member Nadja Swarovski.
"Crystal technology has allowed for endless experimentation within the
fashion world and we are excited to see how each designer will use their
artistry to demonstrate the versatility of Swarovski Elements."
