RICCARDO TISCI has extended
his contract with Givenchy. The designer
will remain creative director at the fashion house for another three years,
according to industry reports.
Tisci has helmed the French luxury label since 2005, now under the
management of former Prada boss Sebastian Suhl, who joined as CEO in March
2012. Givenchy is currently plotting further expansion plans to capitalise on
the news of the designer's contract extension, reports WWD.
The fashion house announced in December that it would be taking a break from producing its
seasonal couture line in order to concentrate on bespoke
"special projects", and was not present on the Paris couture
schedule.
