Valentine’s Day is next week,
and some of you are no doubt angling for a diamond, not a box of chocolate.
We’re here to counsel patience. Patience because you won’t be able to get your
hands on Hoorsenbuhs’ just-launched Forevermark Bridal Collection until April
1, and Hoorsenbuhs’ Robert Keith has designed the most jaw-dropping engagement
ring we’ve seen maybe ever. “Everybody was making the same ring over and over,”
Keith says, rattling off a list of the most famous jewelry houses on earth.
(His business partner, Kether Parker, is brand ambassador.) “And the basic
feeling of the designs of those rings—it’s the same category, the same theme,
and I can see all of them [for a lot less] in the Jewelry Mart downtown in
L.A.”
What sets apart this ring is the responsibly sourced 12.10-carat
Asscher-cut rock that earns its Forevermark Exceptional appellation, and then
some. But each Hoorsenbuhs for Forevermark engagement ring bears some of the
7-year-old brand’s design signatures. And they won’t set your significant other
back $850,000 like this one will, either. Opening price points are less than
$20,000 for a one-carat ring; a sampling of the line, which also includes
diamond studs, is now available at
Barneys.
