With just nine main line collections to date, Victoria Beckham isn't wasting any time in trawling through her archives for a new range called 'Icon'.
Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has only been in the fashion business for a matter of seasons, but she's not wasted any time in acquainting herself with the realms of handbags, sunglasses and a baby sister line to her eponymous label.
Next up for the seemingly tireless mother of four? A collection of her greatest hits, of course.
To co-incide with the launch of her brand's e-commerce site next month, Beckham has created 'Icon', a collection of dresses exclusive to the site which are described as a seasonless assortment in both classic colours and new, limited availability runs.
The first run will see seven dresses from VB's spring/summer 2009 collection onwards, reworked in various colourways and priced from £,1000.
Beckham said the idea came to her "in response to requests for designs from customers as far back as my first collection, and I wanted to find a way to offer them key dresses from the archive, but in newly reworked colours and fabrics."
With nine collections under her singer-turned-fashion-designer belt, we can't imagine the archive at her south London studio commands too much space, but naysayers of her style venture be warned, she's firmly in the fashion business for the long haul.
